The Gulf Coast Arts Alliance Gallery closed Friday out of an abundance of caution for our volunteers, artists and customers.  We will reevaluate the degree of safety prior to April 6, and if we feel it is safe, we will re-open at that time.

In the meantime, our prayer for you is to stay safe, keep your families safe and follow the guidelines outlined by medical experts. We will get to the other side of this pandemic and it is our desire that each and every one who receives this letter will stay well.

Our thoughts are with those who have to continue to serve on the front line keeping us safe. We also commiserate with the many small businesses around us that will suffer financially during this time. If you are able, please continue to patronize our local restaurants and other business that can provide products and services to you safely.

Our small non-profit is an autonomous entity, which depends upon our memberships, our events, such as Zydeco, which was cancelled, and small grants we receive.  If you are so inclined, we would appreciate your membership or contribution.  You can sign up or donate online at and click on “memberships”.

If our artists have websites, online stores, or social media pages, we encourage you to go to their page and continue to support them.

We are all affected by this invisible enemy, which has invaded our lives. We hope to get through this stronger and more connected in love than ever before.

 With great appreciation,

The Board and Membership of the Gulf Coast Arts Alliance
